The purpose of this role is to effectively support a team of professional staff driven to ensure a high quality, customer focused tenancy management service to residents in temporary accommodation. This includes tenants within the Councils own housing stock, as well as accommodation provided by external partners with whom the Council has a tenancy management arrangement, such as Local Space.
Following a service re-design this role will report to the Property Management Services Manager, who currently oversees 10 housing professionals, including this post. You will need to be able to deputise in their absence, ensuring there is robust performance management and accountability across the service as we strive to deliver a supportive housing function that empowers residents to manage and maintain their accommodation. A strong background working with policy and procedures to align service delivery is highly desirable.
The Service will be responsible for ensuring effective tenancy management is in place, putting both resident empowerment and customer service at the forefront of its working ethos. With an expansion of the team comes a drive to become more customer focussed in our approach to case management working in partnership with our colleagues across services.
If you have a passion for driving service progression and making a difference to people lives by helping them with their accommodation we would love to hear from you.
