Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week/0.6 (Mon, Tues, Wed)

We require a temporary Reception Teacher with experience in Early Years to work in our thriving EYFS Unit. This is to cover the maternity leave of one of our part-time class teachers.

We are seeking a compassionate, determined and committed individual to join our Early Years Team and help secure further positive outcomes for our young people, staff, families, and the wider community. The ideal candidate will be a team player, someone who is positive and enthusiastic, yet calm, aligning with our Christian ethos.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a passion for working with our youngest children
• Has a thorough knowledge of teaching and assessment practices in EYFS
• Has high expectations of pupil behaviour, themselves and the children in their care
• Has the ability to challenge learners at all levels
• Has experience of working with pupils with SEND and EAL
• Has a commitment to making a difference and to raising aspirations
• Has a good understanding of how data can be used to improve progress and standards
• Can demonstrate effective organisational skills
• Can communicate at all levels of the school community
• Is able to work as part of a team, is enthusiastic and has a positive attitude
• Is ambitious for our children and school community
