Hanwell Zoo is an award winning animal centre in Ealing, West London. We are looking to recruit a new members to our highly successful team. The zoo plays a key role in the local community and houses a number of exotic mammal and bird species.

We are looking for an individual with practical experience in a zoo setting to assist in the daily running of the retail space at Hanwell Zoo.

Both roles will be based in the gift shop, however in certain circumstances the role will involve some animal work.

The development of the animal collection and the education provision we provide has been key to the success of the animal centre.

The successful candidate would have to:

  • Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with visitors.
  • A high level of customer care.

The successful candidate would also be expected to work with a number of community groups and volunteers on a regular basis.
