    About Camden
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and families? In the SEND & Inclusion Service, we aim high for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and we’re looking for skilled professionals with passion and aspirations to drive change.
These roles are pivotal in ensuring that we deliver an exceptional service, strengthening our relationships with families, schools, and communities.

As part of the SEND & Inclusion Service you will deliver high outcomes for children and young people with SEND. You will foster a supportive, relational approach with families, schools, and education providers. You will work collaboratively with children, young people, families and partners to ensure they’re active participants in the development and delivery of SEND services.

    What You’ll Be Doing
In the SEND & Inclusion Service, we continue to have high aspirations for our children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We want someone who understands that the Local Offer website is the hub of information for children and young people with SEND and their families and is committed to ensuring that we provide and upkeep our Local Offer to be accessible, updated and focused on what our Camden citizens want to know about.

We’re looking for a Local Offer Officer who values collaboration and coproduction to deliver a compliant and stakeholder-driven Local Offer. You’ll manage all aspects of Camden’s Local Offer, ensuring high-quality, accessible information and acting as the first point of contact for related queries. Strong project management and communication skills are essential, as you’ll work closely with colleagues to create engaging content and promote the Local Offer through various media. With an eye for detail and a knack for simplifying complex information, you’ll ensure Camden residents, schools, and stakeholders stay informed and involved.

    All About You
You will have a strong understanding of SEND, including the Code of Practice, Children and Families Act 2014, and Camden’s SEND policies. With experience delivering a statutory-compliant and co-produced Local Offer, you champion high-quality participation and engagement. You’re skilled in managing collaborative projects with diverse stakeholders, gathering feedback to inform service improvements, and promoting inclusive practices. Your knowledge of web production and content creation ensures the Local Offer meets statutory requirements and remains accessible and relevant.
