The role
We’re looking for a Senior Housing Repairs Co-ordinator to join our Housing Repairs Contact Centre. This is a key role where you’ll lead the day-to-day planning and scheduling of high-volume repair works – from the first customer call right through to completion.
As well as handling complex cases and supporting residents, you’ll play a leadership role in mentoring and guiding colleagues, ensuring that service standards are consistently met and that residents receive a first-class experience.
What you’ll do
-
Lead and coordinate scheduling and allocation of responsive repairs.
-
Act as first point of contact for operatives and contractors, tracking progress in real time.
-
Train, mentor, and support Housing Repairs Co-ordinators in the team.
-
Handle high call volumes and complex customer enquiries with professionalism and care.
-
Ensure accurate processing of repairs in line with Camden’s policies and statutory requirements.
-
Monitor outstanding works, escalate delays, and drive completion within set timescales.
-
Contribute to service improvements and support management in achieving team targets.
-
Work closely with repairs supervisors to maximise operatives’ efficiency and customer satisfaction.
About you
We’re looking for someone who combines strong service delivery skills with team leadership qualities. You’ll bring:
-
Experience working in a busy contact centre or scheduling environment.
-
The ability to mentor, support, and guide colleagues.
-
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
-
Experience diagnosing repairs, booking appointments, and using repairs IT systems.
-
A positive, resident-focused approach, even in challenging situations.
