    About Camden

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

    About the team/service

As Youth Early Help Service, we are dedicated to ensuring that all young people and their families succeed, excel in their education, and have access to a range of exciting and early help services when needed. We strive to help children and young people maximise their potential for growth and development, become resilient, stay safe, and lead healthier, more positive lifestyles.

What You’ll Be Doing / How You’ll Be Involved

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Senior Youth Worker to manage a youth hub. You will be managing, supporting, developing, and supervising a team of youth workers and volunteers, ensuring the effective delivery of services to young people in the hub. Your role will involve designing, leading, and implementing a youth work programme that meets the objectives of our service curriculum, embedding accreditation, active citizenship, and participation opportunities for young people.

You will collaborate with a wide range of networks, including Police, Social Workers, YOT, Schools, GPs, CAMHS, and more, to deliver high-quality, evidence-based service provision for young people.

Please note that this role involves working unsociable hours, including evenings between 18:00 – 21:00, weekends, and residentials, with a frequency of up to four evening sessions per week.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS. Please note Camden also offers the DBS update service.
