Are you a focused and enthusiastic team player who enjoys working with partners and contractors in a customer facing environment?

We are looking for someone like you to join our team! If we are a good fit for you, you will have the opportunity to work across parking services, ensuring the facilities are properly maintained, customers are satisfied and contractors are properly monitored.

What will you be doing?

  • Identify service improvements and repairs for both on street and off-street parking provision
  • Monitor contractors and ensure improvement works are completed to a satisfactory standard
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner local authorities (Stevenage, Welwyn-Hatfield and Herts County Council) and contractors
  • Undertake additional project work as required to assist delivery of the East Herts Parking Strategy

About you

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Good knowledge of legislation and best practice in relation to parking and enforcement regulations
  • Ability to use own initiative in problem solving and decision making
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and contractors
  • Experience of having planned, prioritised and managed your own workload
