This is an exciting time to join Adult Provider Services as we implement a programme of transformation, we are looking for a Shared Lives Team Leader to support our commitment to performance, continuous improvement and service growth.

We are looking for an experienced manager to lead our Shared Lives scheme. Managing a team of Shared Lives Workers, you will be responsible for the recruitment, assessment, and ongoing support of Shared Lives carers who want to provide long and short-term placements in their homes to people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs.

Promoting an ethos of person-centred practice, you will have a commitment to ensuring that people who use our services have a positive care and support experience. Developing individual plans, managing risk and knowledge of safeguarding processes will be required. You will be confident with multi agency working and be able to develop professional networks.

You will have excellent communication skills, be experienced in delivering training packages and contributing to care planning meetings and reviews as required.

With an experience of supervising staff members and teams, an understanding of the Care Quality Commission and the responsibilities of registered service, you will support the registered manager to maintain compliance.
