Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity for a Sheltered Housing Officer available on a full time basis (Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm 35 Hours per week) in our Sheltered Housing Service.

Are you an experienced housing professional with a desire to help and support vulnerable and elderly tenants or are you currently working in a non-housing role, but have transferrable skills that you think would be beneficial to the Sheltered Housing service?

If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Sheltered Housing Officer to help vulnerable residents across Ealing maintain their tenancies and live more independently.

In this rewarding role, you will build trusted relationships with tenants, identify support needs through proactive visits, and work in partnership with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate tailored support. You will provide practical help and advice, contribute to safeguarding, and make sure residents can access the services they need to thrive in their homes and communities.

You will need excellent communication skills, experience supporting vulnerable people, and the ability to manage a varied caseload with care and professionalism
