    About Camden

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

    How You’ll Be Involved

Join us as the Strategic Accommodation Lead for Supporting People to help shape and deliver our commitment to give people equitable access to the homes and support they need to thrive in Camden. Reporting to the Head of Learning Disability, Autism and Mental Health Commissioning, you’ll lead the implementation of the SPCC Accommodation Plan, driving collaboration across adults, children’s, housing, development and other partners.

You’ll provide expertise, visible leadership and build strong partnerships across sectors to develop a robust pipeline of future accommodation-based provision for people who need additional care and support to live independently. You will match the development of new accommodation options that meet future need alongside a strong collaboration with health and social care colleagues to develop effective, strength based and value for money support offers, to enable people to thrive and live as independently as possible.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on how we deliver high-quality, sustainable accommodation that meets the diverse needs of our community.

    All About You

You’ll be educated to degree level or have equivalent senior-level experience, ideally within Council or Registered Provider development roles and/or commissioning, social care and health. You’ll understand how a range of accommodation-based support services can be delivered through collaboration with housing, planning and capital development partners.

As an adaptable and resilient collaborator, you’ll have a track record of managing complex, multi-agency programmes, developing strategic business cases, and navigating financial and organisational challenges. Most importantly, you’ll thrive on building strong, honest relationships across sectors to deliver meaningful change for residents, combining strategic insight with a genuine commitment to improving people’s lives through well-planned, sustainable accommodation solutions.
