<h4>Support Worker</h4><dl><dt>Job description</dt>About the recipientThe individual is female, 80 years old and resides in Bridlington. They require a dedicated and suitable person to support them for 1 full day per fortnight - Saturdays 9am-5pm. Lady is completely blind. The role is to support with mobility, toileting and meal/ drink preparation. This is to give daughter a break from her caring role and to also sustain her caring role. Lady is completely blind and is chair bound and support with using commode is required and maintaining personal hygiene.About the roleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:<ul><li>Meal preparation and some domestic tasks.</li><li>Assisting with personal care.</li><li>Female applications only please due to personal cares.</li></ul>About the candidate<ul><li>Be motivated, proactive and able to work on their own initiative.</li><li>Be patient, caring and understanding.</li><li>Have good communication skills (clear and effective communication).</li><li>Be able to build a positive relationship with the individual to both encourage and support them.</li></ul>DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority.</dl>
