We're looking for an inspirational and experienced Team Manager to lead our Care Experienced Young People Team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape services, support a talented workforce and help young people make successful transitions into adulthood and independence.

The Role
As Team Manager, you will provide leadership, direction and support to a dedicated team working with care experienced young people aged 16-25. This is a new, permanent role created due to expansion in our Care Experienced People’s Service.
You will:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team focused on achieving outstanding outcomes.
- Ensure young people receive high-quality, relationship-based support and pathway planning.
- Promote positive outcomes in education, employment and training.
- Support young people to access and sustain suitable accommodation.
- Champion participation and ensure young people's voices influence service delivery.
- Drive excellent safeguarding practice and effective risk management.
- Develop strong partnerships across housing, health, education and community services.
- Create a learning culture where practitioners feel supported, challenged and valued.
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement across Children's Services.

About You
You will be a passionate and motivated leader with experience of working with children, young people and families within statutory services.
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised Social Work qualification and is registered with Social Work England.
- Has significant experience working with care experienced young people, children in care or leaving care services.
- Has experience of leading, supervising and developing staff.
- Has sound knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance and best practice relating to care leavers and corporate parenting responsibilities.
- Can build strong and effective relationships with young people, families and partner agencies.
- Is committed to strengths-based practice and achieving the very best outcomes for young people.
- Brings energy, creativity and determination to improving services.
