We are looking to recruit a Transport Co-ordinator to cover maternity leave on a 6 month, fixed term basis.

About the role:

As Transport Co-ordinator, you will plan and coordinate home to school/college/day centre transport for vulnerable special needs young people and adults. You will manage c.70 part-time staff and process invoices. This is a demanding but important role, working as part of a small office-based team.

About the candidate:

We're looking for an individual who is well organised and adaptable, able to work in a busy office responsible for 2000+ passengers on a daily basis. Key skills required include, an empathy with our client group and their families, an understanding of local road networks, the ability to deal with contractors, schools/colleges/day centres, a good telephone manner and the ability use Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams. This post will suit a dynamic, well organised individual who is used to working with public and can remain calm under pressure.
