Based in the heart of the picturesque Calder Valley, are our three wonderful schools, Central Street Nursery & Infants, Riverside Junior & Stubbings Nursery & Infants School and although we are situated at three different sites, we are very much one big family, working together to make sure the children’s learning experience is the best it can be.

We currently have the following vacancies:


KS2 Teacher – 0.4 FTE MPR/UPS - Fixed Term (Thursday/Friday)

Required from: Jan 2027 – Summer 2027 (2 Terms) based at Riverside

We are looking for individuals who:

• has a record of outstanding classroom teaching
• is an inspiring, enthusiastic and compassionate practitioner
• is committed and hardworking
• is creative, inclusive and has a positive approach to all aspects of teaching and learning.
• is a team player and can work collaboratively within a small team.
• can make a positive contribution to the whole school

AUTISM RESOURCED PROVISION (ARP) SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Required from: as soon as possible - Central Street/Riverside
32.5 hours per week (term time only+ 1 day)
Scale 3 – NJC Pt 5-6 (£12.85 – £13.05) Pay Award Pending

We are looking for candidates who:
• Have experience working with children with Autism and/or additional needs
• Are flexible and able to work as part of a team
• Are friendly, approachable, and trustworthy.
• Able to use their initiative as well as working under the direction of the class teacher
• Are organised and able to prioritise, showing good time management.
• Works efficiently and will ask if needs clarification.
• Have strong communication skills and who have ICT skills and knowledge.
• Have a willingness to progress and adapt to change.
• Are willing to undertake training to support their role

Please note that this role will require some intimate care.

2 x SEN SUPPORT ASSISTANT (Fixed Term to Summer 2026)

Required from: as soon as possible – based at Riverside
30 hours per week (term time only+ 1 day)
Scale 3 – NJC Pt 5-6 (£13.26 - £13.47/hr)


We are looking for candidates who:
• Are friendly, approachable, and trustworthy.
• Are organised and able to prioritise, good time management.
• Have strong communication, ICT skills and knowledge.
• Experience of working with children who have additional needs.
• Works well on own, but also as part of a team.
• Can use initiative and works efficiently.
• Have a willingness to progress and adapt to change


EYFS Support Assistant (Level 3 – Early Years DFE approved qualification)

Required from: as soon as possible – based at Central Street School
30hrs 50 mins per week (term time only+ 1 day)
Mon - Friday 8.40am – 3.20pm (30 mins Lunch)
Scale 3 – NJC Pt 5-6 (£13.26 - £13.47/hr)


We are looking for candidates who:
• Are friendly, approachable, and trustworthy.
• Experience of working with EYFS children, and children with additional needs.
• Have strong communication, ICT skills and knowledge.
• Can use initiative and works efficiently on own and within a team.
• Have a willingness to progress and adapt to change
• Are willing to undertake training to support their role.


Administration Assistants x 2 required as soon as possible

Required from: as soon as possible

Post 1: 19.5 hrs per week (Tues – Thurs 8.30am – 3.30pm) - Based at Stubbings

Post 2: 22.5 hrs per week (Mon – Fri 8.30am – 1pm) - Based at Riverside

Scale 2 -3 NJC Pt 4 (£13.05 – 13.26/hr) depending on experience.


We are seeking friendly, organised, and proactive individuals to join our team as Administration Assistants, supporting the effective day-to-day operations of our federation of schools. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who thrive in a busy educational environment and enjoy delivering high-quality customer service alongside a wide range of administrative responsibilities.


Working across all three schools within the Federation as required, you will serve as a key point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agencies. In this front-facing role, you will help create a welcoming, professional, and positive experience for all stakeholders while providing essential administrative support across a variety of school functions. Your contribution will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and effective running of our schools


Midday Supervisor

Required from: as soon as possible – based at Stubbings Infant School
7.5 hrs/week) Mon-Fri 11.45am – 1.15pm (Term-time only +1 day)
Scale 1c -NJC Pt 3 (£12.85/hr)

We Are Looking for someone who:
• Enjoys working with children and can build positive relationships.
• Is reliable, caring and approachable.
• Has good communication and teamwork skills.
• Can remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
