Our Team:
Seated within the Commissioning team, you'll be supporting our work within the Children's Directorate and across the wider partnership. You will lead on the co-ordination of the development and delivery of Youth Grant provision and Holiday Activity Fund Programme.
Hours: 37 hours per week. Fixed Term Contract to 31/03/2029.
Your Contributions:
You will lead on the co-ordination and development of Holiday Activity fund (HAF) programme and Halton Youth Grants. HAF programme provides healthy meals, enriching activities, and free childcare places to children from low-income families through school holidays. The youth grant programme will support the development of inclusive, sustainable, and high-quality youth services across the borough in line with Halton Childrens and Young Peoples Plan 2024-2027 . This will include supporting the panel process around applications, funding and sign up to relevant grant conditions. You will conduct Quality Assurance checks on providers, involving visits to providers' sites, to ensure that they are delivering their programmes effectively and in line with the activities they have agreed to deliver, as well as obtaining feedback from parents and carers.
