The Aspire Learning Federation was established in March 2022 between Elm Park Primary School and The RJ Mitchell Primary School. Both schools have a highly inclusive philosophy. We set high expectations for all our pupils and provide high quality pastoral care and support for our most vulnerable pupils. Anyone applying for this post will be employed by the Aspire Learning Federation and may therefore be required to work across both schools. In the first instance, this post is to work at Elm Park Primary School but there will be collaboration with SEN team staff from both schools within the federation.
Elm Park Primary is a two form entry primary school. We believe that every child deserves the very best education and we are proud to grow good people, people who are inspired and excited to make a difference to their lives and the lives of those around them. We are looking for a like-minded individual to join our team.
What are we looking for?
- You'll be an experienced teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs.
- You are a teacher who understands how children with a variety of additional learning needs learn and has a proven track record of outstanding practices in supporting staff in delivering high quality teaching and learning that meets the needs of all SEND pupils across the primary phase.
- You’ll have proven leadership skills in managing SEND provision in your current setting.
- You understand what inclusion for all really means.
- You have a ‘can do’ attitude, are caring, hardworking and resilient in your outlook.
- You’re passionate, proactive and organised and able to work at a fast pace and to tight deadlines.
What can we offer?
- Opportunity to work closely with colleagues in our partner school within our federation;
- Supportive and enthusiastic senior leadership and staff teams;
- Forward thinking and innovative educational environment in which to work;
- Opportunities for continuing professional development in strategic leadership and management.
Informal visits to the school are warmly welcomed and can be arranged by telephoning the school office on 01708 451463.
