The role involves driving service improvements, managing budgets, overseeing casework quality and decisions, and shaping policies to reduce homelessness and support vulnerable residents in need to access homes in the private rented sector and via the Housing Register. You will work closely with internal and external partners, including the voluntary sector, to develop and implement effective strategies that resolve homelessness and complex housing needs to improve long-term outcomes for vulnerable residents.</p>\n<div><strong>The Person</strong></div>\n<div>We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader with extensive knowledge of the diverse needs of homeless households and targeted procurement of properties in the private rented sector. You will have a strong track record of managing high-performing teams in homelessness/housing services, successful project management, implementing policy changes, and improving service delivery. You will be confident in your experience and knowledge and be able to use this to support and lead your team to feel empowered within their roles so they can deliver a seamless and supportive service to our residents by proactively engaging with them, taking a holistic approach to resolve their housing and support needs. You are confident in handling complex legal cases, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and driving innovation in resolving housing and support needs. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, along with the ability to negotiate and influence and collaborate to achieve positive housing outcomes.</div>\n<p>You will have a passion for what we do, and an understanding of the multiple needs that our residents may have, and able to provide a solutions based approach in your work. The Post
