Situated in the heart of East Ham, Plashet is a comprehensive 11 - 16 girls’ school of 1,500 students. Our Progress 8 score for 2024 was +0.87 which placed us in the top 4% of schools nationally. Plashet entered 90 girls for History in 2024 and their GCSE outcomes were: Grade 4+ 81%; Grade 5+ 63% and Grade 7+ 36%.

We are looking to appoint an ambitious Teacher of History who has excellent subject knowledge with a real passion for teaching and learning. The successful candidate will have a firm commitment to a range of extra-curricular enrichment activities and experience of teaching GCSE History with students gaining the highest GCSE grades.
