The Community Protection Officer will provide a visible and pro-active presence to make Arun a safer place to live, work and visit. Working as part of the Arun Community Safety Team, the role will be all about getting to know the community, building trust and resilience and supporting those in need. This role will carry enforcement powers to actively work with the community and wider partners to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour. The role is active, providing patrol across the District and will be required to work shifts, with evenings and weekends as part of the rota.
