This is an opportunity to join an experienced statutory housing solutions service within Knowsley, ensuring everyone who is homeless or at risk of homelessness has access to meaningful help tailored to the individual needs of the household.
The Role
Carry out formal investigations under the Housing Act 1996, to ensure that the Council fulfils its statutory duties.
Determine applications, to ensure that customers are kept informed at all stages and to issue written notifications of all decisions made.
Complete assessments and investigations of homeless approaches and applications in line with the Councils’ statutory duties under Housing Act 1996 Part 7 relevant case law and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
