Elmhurst Primary School is looking for a passionate and compassionate teacher due to the relocation of its current SEND Support teacher. The successful candidate will be joining our inclusion team which constitutes: a Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and a team of highly effective and committed teaching assistants.
Elmhurst Primary School is an outstanding school that is part of the New Vision Trust, an ambitious and successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) comprised of four good and outstanding primary schools in the London borough of Newham.
The role includes work at an operational level as well as a strategic level with opportunities to develop and influence approaches and pathways for children with SEND, including teaching pupils with high needs in the state of the art bespoke wing as well as supporting individuals/year groups with special needs in class to make excellent progress.
