The time commitment will be approximately 4 to 6 days per year to attend panel, more if required, with a payment rate of £200 per panel, plus reasonable travel and other expenses incurred. Attendance at 2 training sessions per year is required and travel expenses will be covered.

Our Adoption Panel Members play a very important role at PACT by carefully considering applications from those wishing to become adoptive parents. We are currently seeking independent Adoption Panel Members with a sound understanding of the adoption process from either professional or personal experience to ensure our panel makes fair, informed recommendation outcomes to a high quality standard. &nbsp;
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, efficiency in time management and demonstrate an understanding of, and a commitment to, the need for confidentiality. You’ll show willingness to increase your knowledge and understanding of adoption through reading, discussion and training.

About the role
As the Homelessness Partnerships Officer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and enhancing services for single homeless households. Your responsibilities will include:
<ul>
<li>Service coordination: Support the delivery of Homelessness Support Services, including chairing the Access Panel and facilitating all its relevant functions and administration, to ensure services are responsive, effective, and aligned with local housing priorities. This includes managing all referrals and decisions on priorities for vacancies that arise.</li>
<li>Casework and advocacy: Provide casework support and act as a single point of contact for internal and external partner services, working closely with case holding Homelessness Prevention Officers to effect positive supported housing referrals and outcomes for those approaching Homelessness Prevention Services.</li>
<li>Partnership liaison and oversight: Ensure housing needs are represented in multi-agency forums such as MAPPA, MARAC, and Integrated Offender Management panels. Provide oversight and coordination rather than direct casework support.</li>
<li>Emergency protocols: Support with the effective operation of the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP), reviewing annually with stakeholders to align with national best practice.</li>
<li>Service development: Support service reviews and improvement planning for all Access Panel functions and the development of effective case management systems and referral mechanisms for supported housing referrals.</li>
<li>Commissioning and procurement: Contribute to the development of service specifications, support the assessment of contract bids/tenders.</li>
<li>Stakeholder engagement: Support collaboration with internal teams and external partners – such as voluntary sector organisations, registered social landlords, and commissioned services – by contributing to the development of joint protocols and helping improve service outcomes.</li>
<li>Data analysis and reporting: Support with the analysis of trends and performance data to inform service delivery and assist in preparing reports with insights and recommendations.</li>
<li>Strategic input: Contribute to the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy and Action Plan.</li>
<li>Quality assurance: Assist in monitoring service quality by carrying out client file checks, gathering feedback through service user consultations, and supporting unannounced provider visits.</li>

The Advice and Wellbeing Hub take all the new referrals into Adult Social Care for people from 18 years upwards.&nbsp; The Hub aims to actively promote wellbeing and independence, supporting people to retain or regain their skills and confidence by using existing and new support networks, Technology Enabled Care (TEC), equipment and short-term interventions. This post offers opportunities to improve your skills and experience in Adult Social Care with high quality, strengths-based, functional occupational therapy assessments, and interventions with service users in their own homes to help them develop, recover, or maintain their meaningful occupations. You will be based in the Advice and Wellbeing Hub OT Pathway working with other Occupational Therapists and Social Care Coordinator colleagues assessing adults with a broad range of needs. We work closely with our colleagues in the Advice and Wellbeing Hub Social Work Pathway. You will hold a varied caseload and contribute to the team performance and positive outcomes for our residents. Using a strengths-based approach and your unique OT skill set you will support individuals to find solutions, promote wellbeing and healthy occupations through a variety of interventions including provision of equipment, adaptations, moving and handling and goal planning. You will work closely with care providers, Housing Services and Health colleagues. You will also support the team’s Duty function triaging cases that come into the team. You will work within the legal framework provided by the statute, guidance, policies, and procedures. You will need to have:

This role, although contractually office based, allows for hybrid working with an aim of making it easier to manage workloads and a work/life balance. You will also be out and about on the estates, visiting people in their homes. This is a very varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. One day you will be visiting residents in their home to discuss affordable payment arrangements and the next carrying out tenancy sign ups.&nbsp;
You will be creative in your approach to support customers and ensure optimal income collection. You'll also carry out a range of tasks including looking at dedicated accounts and really getting to know your tenants, providing expert welfare benefit and income maximisation advice, assisting in preparing applications for court, organising and attending case conferences and court hearings.
