Delce Academy, located in Medway, Kent, is part of The Inspire Partnership Academy Trust, a family of schools across Medway, Croydon and Greenwich who aim to offer a life changing education to children. Delce Academy is seeking a Classroom Teacher with the ability to ensure high standards across the school. The successful candidate will also:
- Have a strong knowledge of teaching and learning, curriculum and inclusion
- Be relentless in the pursuit of achieving an excellent quality of education for our children
- Be committed to children enjoying and engaging in their learning whilst being challenged
- Be an instrumental part of the senior leadership team and make a significant contribution to the strategic development and direction of the school
- Have experience of leading people, developing expertise and holding to account, making the best use of individual skills to inspire and motivate staff to do their best for the children of the school
Delce Academy is a three-form entry Junior school with a values-based ethos and unwavering commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment where all children thrive and feel that they belong. We host a resource-based provision for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). The Delce Education Centre (DEC) caters for junior school aged children who have an Education Health Care Plan with SEMH as their primary need. The DEC provides a supportive and caring environment for learning. The strong teaching ensures the curriculum is designed to demonstrate nurturing and moral values which help our children achieve their best.
