The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor based at Cromford Church of England Primary School. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children and be happy to take an active role in lunchtime activities. Applicants should be able to work as part of a team and demonstrate use of initiative. Training and support will be provided. Experience of working with children would be an advantage. The Role
<ul>
<li>Supervise pupils during the lunch period, both in the dining hall and on the playground.</li>
<li>Promote positive behaviour and ensure the safety and well-being of all children.</li>
<li>Support pupils in developing good social skills and healthy eating habits.</li>
<li>Administer basic first aid when required (training provided).</li>
<li>Encourage and facilitate active play as part of our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) Programme, helping children to explore, create, and enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities.</li>
</ul>
Previous experience is not essential. However, individuals should have a caring, common-sense attitude towards children, good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
