This position supports schools, educational settings and families within the London Borough of Havering.</p> <p>The <strong>Communication and Interaction Advisor </strong>will play a key role within the restructured SEND Education Support Service, leading to increased capacity and expertise within the Communication and Interaction Support Team to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people and schools. </p> <p>The Communication and Interaction Support Team includes Advisory Teachers and <strong>Communication and Interaction Education Advisors</strong>. You will work closely with the Senior CCTV Operations Supervisor to ensure necessary cover in the control room and that all relevant council colleagues are fully briefed on current events.  You will also be required to work with the Dartford Town Against Crime Business Crime Reduction Partnership, which will include liaising with private sector CCTV operators and staff as well as Kent Police colleagues to help in the prevention and detection of crime whilst trying to assist in the aprehention of offenders.   You must be sufficiently autonomous in making decisions and interventions involving the direction and control of emergency Services to an incident in Dartford covered by CCTV.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You should be familiar with and adhere to the principles of the Data Protection Act 2018, Human Rights Act 1998, Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) 2000, Freedom of Information Act 2000 and have sound knowledge of Common Law as it affects the role and be able to produce evidentially compliant copies of CCTV footage for both public and private organisations. You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable using radio communications equipment. This is a great opportunity to join and become part of a developing team.
