Job Title: Electoral Assistant x 2 posts

Grade: BR7

Salary: £30,463 - £32,858

Contract 1: Permanent, Full-time, 36 hours per week

Contract 2: Fixed Term (3 years), Full-time, 36 hours per week

Location: Bromley Civic Centre

We are looking for 2 enthusiastic team players to join our Electoral Services Team to assist with all aspects of the maintenance of an accurate Register of Electors, and the organisation of all elections and referendums in the borough.

You will be working as a member of a small team and will need a flexible approach to the duties of this post. You will have the ability to produce accurate work whilst meeting statutory deadlines.

You must have proven quick and accurate data entry skills as you will be updating the electoral software on a daily basis. You will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and will have the ability to communicate clearly with members of the public by email, telephone and face to face.
