About the Role
Multiple vacancies have arisen for Day/Night Team Electricians within the Maintenance Delivery team based at the Asset Management depot in Wallasey. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team responsible for maintaining some of Liverpool City Region’s key and historic assets such as Kingsway and Queensway tunnels and other key transport infrastructure across the region.
As part of the rotating Days/Nights Shift Team, you’ll be tasked with carrying out planned electrical maintenance and responding to emergency/reactive works across the Mersey Tunnels and wider estate. You’ll work closely with your team to deliver maintenance and installation projects under the supervision of a Team Leader and the Principal Officer Works Delivery.
About the shift pattern
This role comes with a 3-week rotating shift pattern designed to offer flexibility and a better work-life balance — with the added bonus of no Friday afternoon or Friday night shifts!
Day Shifts (3 weeks):
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 15:30
Friday: 07:30 – 12:30
Night Shifts (3 weeks):
Monday to Thursday: 21:30 – 06:15 (no Friday night working)
About the person
We’re looking for a qualified industrial electrician with experience in installing and maintaining 3-phase equipment and associated controls. You’ll have a solid technical understanding and the ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as is a proactive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and alignment with our core values of LCR First, Respect, and Action Focus.
