The Licensing Services team are a busy service who are part of the wider regulatory services comprised of Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Bereavement Services. The team issue thousands of licences every year to pubs, clubs, taxis, scrap metal merchants, wedding venues and gambling establishments. The work is complex but rewarding and requires a keen eye for detail as every document we issue is part of a legal framework. As a Licensing Services Assistant, you will be responsible for processing the applications and checking that the correct evidence documentation is in place as well as verifying identity. When trained, will have your own client base to manage.
The Licensing Services team also process all local land search enquiries as part of our legal administrative duties.
You will form part of a small team who deliver these services which are crucial to the clients they serve. If you like being busy, enjoy working with the public and are comfortable working across a multi discipline service, then this could the role for you.
There will be lots of opportunities for training both external and internal and although experience would be useful, its not essential as full training is provided.

Contact Cares is a large and busy multi-disciplinary team and is the single point of access for health and social care referrals. As the team continues to develop, we are looking to recruit a motivated Assessment and review worker to join our assessment and discharge team within the service. The team consists of both qualified and unqualified Social Care, Nursing and Therapy staff. We offer planned and urgent assessments and provide a 2-hour response under Urgent Community Response Criteria as well as supporting hospital and intermediate care discharges.
The Contact Cares team also provide initial contact, care planning, onward referrals, and signposting services for a wide range of adult clients across health and social care. With a focus that stretches from prevention and early intervention, to reducing hospital admissions and readmissions the work is varied and interesting. 
This post is based within the hospital Discharge team at Nightingale House, working closely with health and social care professionals to facilitate safe and timely discharges from hospital and avoid admissions with a focus on home first.

Working alongside the Safer Communities Domestic Abuse Service, you will ensure a joined-up approach and promote early identification of domestic abuse and safe and&nbsp;appropriate responses.&nbsp; As one of two specialist domestic abuse practitioners situated in MASH, you will work as part of the multi-agency team to strengthen our response and promote better outcomes for victim-survivors (adults and children) experiencing domestic abuse whilst supporting the ongoing work of the Safer Communities Service.
This role will involve constant collaboration with various agencies, including police, social services, and healthcare providers, to share information and coordinate support and so experience of multi-agency working and exemplary relationship building is imperative as we continue to develop the role and ensure that victim voice is heard as safeguarding decisions are being made.

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage the Pensions Team, ensuring high standards and clear service objectives.</li>
<li>Interpret and implement pension legislation and policy updates.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Auto Enrolment and all relevant pension schemes.</li>
<li>Liaise with external bodies including LGPS, NHS Pensions, and Teachers’ Pensions.</li>
<li>Manage pension calculations, capital cost budgets, and policy development.</li>
<li>Provide training and guidance to staff and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Deputise for the Service Manager Employee Support when required.</li>
</ul>
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
<ul>
<li>Proven experience managing a pensions function, ideally within a local authority.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of pension scheme regulations and employment law.</li>
<li>Experience working with HR/Payroll systems such as Midland iTrent.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.</li>
<li>A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage sensitive cases with empathy.</li>
</ul>
Essential Qualifications &amp; Experience
<ul>
<li>Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.</li>
<li>Experience with Local Government terms and conditions (Blue Book, Green Book, Teachers’ Pay).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of annual and monthly pension returns processes.</li>
</ul>

We’re looking for an exceptional and motivated graduate surveyor to support the Knowsley Business Park Service and the Council’s ambitious Major Development Programme.
As a graduate surveyor within the Major Development Team you will assist in the management and development of the Council’s property assets at Knowsley Business Park on a range of property matters including:&nbsp;
Property management including all landlord and tenant matters
Property acquisitions and disposals.
Capital and rental valuations
Inspection and measurement to RICS professional standards for a variety of purposes.
Implementing the Council’s plans for the business park including liaising with other Council professional services to ensure cohesive management of the park.
Advice to the Council on a full range of property matters including the preparation of reports approving property transactions.
Develop an understanding of the council’s policies, plans and strategies and how effective management of the business park can support these.
Maintain and develop property management systems as required, supplying and maintaining appropriate and accurate property information.
Develop in-depth knowledge of the business park, developing relationships with the businesses and tenants and promoting active management of the park.
Practical training leading to the professional competencies and MRICS qualification.
Ability to work as part of a small team or independently if required and to develop relationships with other council departments.
You will hold a recognised degree leading to full membership of the RICS prepared to undertake the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence.
