The post holder will be required to work collaboratively with the Housing Solutions Officers, Temporary Accommodation Service, and the Allocations Service to ensure a high-quality customer focused, service is offered to all customers.
You will have recent experience of working in a homeless prevention or housing advice/options role with a local authority, Registered Social Landlord, homeless charity or similar. Above all you will be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, possess excellent communication skills and have the enthusiasm to help others overcome their problems.

<h2>Your Role:</h2>
- Work within a specialist legal team focused on property and regeneration transactions. - Provide expert legal advice on complex and high-profile transactions to senior officers and Council leaders, Committees, and elected members. - Ensuring effective service delivery. - Support the Council’s commitment to modernisation, including digital transformation initiatives. - Represent Legal Services as an experienced Property and Regeneration Lawyer.
<h2>About You:</h2>
We are looking for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX with a current practicing certificate, who has: - Substantial legal experience providing commercial and regeneration property legal advice. - Strong cooperation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate yourself and colleagues within the Commercial and Contracts Legal Team. - A commitment to continuous improvement, inclusivity, and collaborative working. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and effectively.

Professionally registered with a degree in social work – CQSW, DipSW or equivalent – you will have a variety of post-qualification experience of working with children and families.&nbsp;Your experience should cover systemic practice, and you will need an in-depth understanding of legislative and policy frameworks.

Transport

This role is subject to holding a Full UK Driving Licence – The Council is committed to making reasonable adjustments so whilst this job requires the jobholder to drive your application will still be considered if you are unable to drive due to a disability.
