As a Housing Officer (Landlord Services), you will manage a diverse portfolio of properties and tenants, working with private landlords and our council housing company. We use a Conversations Count strengths-based model to promote choice and control and achieve excellent outcomes. About the Role:
Your duties as Senior Social Worker include providing supervision to the Social Workers and Social Care Coordinators within the team and to undertake joint visits with other members of the team to support with knowledge sharing and skills development. You will also support the Team Manager in some aspects of managing the team as a whole and service development
The role involves you undertaking work using the Conversation Counts model, working on prevention and early support. Using your social work expertise, you will conduct Care Act assessments, safeguarding investigations, and Mental Capacity assessments, as well as facilitate best interest meetings. 
This role involves working with adults with diverse needs, including individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, older adults, and those affected by substance or alcohol misuse. Additionally, you will provide information, advice, and support to carers, helping them navigate available resources and services. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in Adult Social Care, delivering high-quality, person-centred interventions to individuals in their own homes. This includes the full range of seasonal and year-round duties required for football, rugby, and pitches, utilising tractors and a variety of grounds maintenance machinery and attachments to ensure playing surfaces are safe, presentable, and in a good condition.
Some of the duties include:

<li>Carry out pre-season, in-season and end-of-season works for football, cricket and rugby pitches, including grass cutting, Verti-draining, top dressing, seeding, turfing, and goal post installation/removal.</li>
<li>Mark out football and rugby pitches of varying sizes using appropriate line marking equipment.</li>
<li>Undertake renovation and repair works as required, ensuring pitches remain playable and meet safety requirements throughout the sporting seasons.</li>
<li>Maintain cricket squares and outfields, including mowing, scarifying, rolling, end-of-season renovation, and setting up wickets.</li>
<li>Operate tractors and associated attachments (e.g., aerators, slitters, scarifiers, trailers, gang mowers, and line markers) in the preparation and upkeep of sports surfaces.</li>

About the Person 
<ul>
<li>Ability to mark out pitches accurately to required dimensions and standards.</li>
<li>Experience in sports turf maintenance, particularly in football, rugby, and cricket environments.</li>
<li>Understanding of seasonal sports turf requirements and renovation techniques.</li>
<li>Have relevant qualifications and experience in Sports Turf Maintenance, including the use of tractors and various grounds maintenance machinery.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Have a strong awareness of health and safety and safe working practices.</li>
<li>Be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.</li>
<li>Full UK driving licence.</li>

This newly established role aims to secure suitable, affordable accommodation within the private rented sector for Rushmoor residents at risk of homelessness, including Ukrainian refugees and other vulnerable individuals.&nbsp;
This role will play a key role in building strong relationships with landlords, managing Rushmoor’s rent deposit scheme, and working closely with key partners to provide long-term housing solutions.&nbsp;By facilitating access to stable tenancies, this role will help reduce reliance on unsuitable and costly temporary housing, such as B&amp;B, ensuring residents can secure safe and sustainable accommodation.&nbsp;
This position is instrumental in preventing homelessness, promoting housing stability, and fostering community integration.
<h2>Main Responsibilities</h2>

<li>Develop and maintain strong partnerships with private landlords and letting agents to secure accommodation for people at risk of homelessness.</li>
<li>Administer and manage Rushmoor’s rent deposit scheme, ensuring efficient allocation and recovery of funds.</li>
