We are seeking an environmental health specialist with experience of commenting on planning applications from a public health perspective. A good knowledge of key areas of concern in this area with Air Quality, Environmental Noise and Contaminated Land within your remit. You will work with our Planning department across all stages of the planning process, providing advice and guidance on theenvironmental and public health impact of applications and proposed developments. You will help provide evidence and expert witness evidence for appeals, hearings and public inquiries.

Executive Support Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Assessment Officer to determine service user contributions for community and residential care services and personal budgets and identify potential welfare benefit entitlement. To work out contributions in line with the Council’s Fairer Charging Policies, Charging Regulations and Accommodation Guidelines, Care Act 2014, Third Party Policy and offer practical assistance and advice with the relevant welfare benefit claim processes.
