The Head of People will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the OSDC’s people agenda, ensuring the organisation attracts, develops, and retains exceptional talent. This role will shape and deliver the OSDC’s People Strategy, embedding a high-performance, inclusive culture that makes OSDC a destination employer.
You will build influential relationships across the GLA family and with key public and private sector stakeholders to ensure best practice informs our policies and approaches. The Post
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team.&nbsp;

In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, driving organisational success. You’ll provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and employee development, ensuring a positive work environment.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
Additionally, you will support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build and maintain a high-performing workforce. By analysing HR data, you will help drive informed decision-making and contribute to improving overall business outcomes.

The Person
You will be a passionate HR professional with excellent knowledge and understanding of human resources best practice with a thorough understanding of the practical application of current and upcoming employment law.

About the Role
Reporting to the Strategic People and Resourcing Manager, this role will provide strategic HR advice and expertise to enable Executive Directors and Senior Leaders to deliver their objectives. &nbsp;

About the person
You must be able to demonstrate your ability to ensure HR change management processes are planned, communicated, executed, and evaluated working with senior leaders, Trade Unions and the wider organisation.
You will be a proactive and collaborative member of the Strategic HR team and will have a proven record of performing a trusted adviser role to Executive Directors and Senior Leaders. You will have experience of designing and implementing organisational change relating to work and people.
