We are looking for a qualified Senior Practitioner to join our Community Team. \nAbout you…\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified Social Worker - MASW, DipSW, CQSW</li>\n<li>Experience of supervision and performance development of staff</li>\n<li>Experience of complex case work, learning disability and autism, and transitions in Preparing for Adulthood</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Adult Social Care legislation and procedures</li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience of safeguarding adults’ procedures</li>\n</ul>\nAbout the role…\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure people and their families during a transition in their life, receive a strength-based approach to having their needs met, and are supported to live their best life.</li>\n<li>Work in partnership to deliver best- value services that promote independence and prepare for adulthood.</li>\n<li>Manage a load of complex cases, including legal processes</li>\n<li>Support and supervise practitioners working on complex cases</li>\n<li>To deputise for the Team Manager when required, such as to cover annual leave, attend meetings and support the wider team functions. \n</li>\n</ul>\nPlease refer to the job description and person specification for further information about the role.\nThe successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
