Some of our Service Users may experience problems in managing their complex behaviour; therefore, we adopt a multi-agency approach to help promote positive behaviour management, in the safest, ethical, and most appropriate way possible.</p>\n<p>This role will involve working from person centred support plans, risk assessments and the promotion of person-centred planning. Supported Living Workers will also be expected to follow all the policies and procedures that are in place e.g. safeguarding of vulnerable adult’s procedures and attend regular training.</p>\n<p>The role of Supported Living Worker requires total flexibility to support 25 Service Users living in 15 tenancies across the borough of St Helens. Shifts can include sleep in duties, waking nights and a variety of shift patterns e.g. an early shift can start from 7.30am and a late shift working up until 11pm. Some shifts mean a late shift followed by a sleep-in and an early shift the next day, which can equate to 24hrs over those two days. Shift patterns can change to meet the needs of the Service Users. We provide a quality educational experience for pupils who have had or are experiencing difficulties in a mainstream setting due to social, emotional, or behavioural needs.</p>\n<p>We support young people from Years 1-11, to develop strategies to improve their resilience and confidence through a personalised curriculum, delivered by dedicated, experienced and qualified staff.</p>\n<p>We seek to recruit a dedicated Teacher with a specialism in Food, and the ability to deliver Art to Secondary aged pupils. The applicant should be a suitably qualified, enthusiastic, and inspirational teacher with the ability to work in a team. They will be passionate about the subject and demonstrate flair whilst maintaining the very highest of standards. An ability to establish and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with pupils is essential.</p>\n<p>The successful candidate will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspire disengaged students and help them to make accelerated progress from their starting points by delivering personalised and interesting lessons</li>\n<li>Guide and support their classes to ensure best outcomes</li>\n<li>Establish good working relationships with students acting as a role model and setting high expectations</li>\n<li>Promote inclusion and acceptance of all</li>\n<li>Provide pastoral care, support, and guidance as a form tutor</li>\n<li>Establish and maintain an appropriate learning environment</li>\n<li>Deliver and assess relevant KS4 qualifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p>For an informal and confidential discussion, or to arrange a tour of the school, please contact Jackie Cleary, Headteacher.
