As a Round Leader of a small crew, you will have good communication and customer service skills to enable you to engage with colleagues and members of the public in a polite and professional manner. You must be a team player, quick learner and able to carry out a range of duties including: Use of the vehicles in cab devices, &nbsp;moving, handling and loading of refuse , recycling, garden and food waste. You will be expected to to work with minimum supervision.&nbsp; &nbsp; The work involves driving, operating machinery and heavy manual labour therefore you must be physically fit and mobile.&nbsp; Experience of rear-steer vehicles would be advantageous. A willingness to train and use a wide variety of vehicles and equipment is essential Essential Qualifications: The role will involve safely driving HGVs and other Council vehicles. Harborough District Council has invested in its Business Centres Harborough Innovation Centre (HIC) and Harborough Enterprise Centre (HEC) to support innovative, early-stage companies in the East Midlands.
Harborough Innovation Centre offers start-up, growth and innovation businesses across Harborough District office space and a range of business support services including mentoring, training and networking opportunities.&nbsp; There are 57 offices for rent, as well as meeting rooms, conference facilities and virtual office services.
Harborough Enterprise Centre works in tandem with the Harborough Innovation Centre, offering a range of business space and support for companies to grow and enjoy the benefits of Harborough District as a place to do business, thereby creating jobs for the high volume of talented individuals in the surrounding area.
The business centres are located in Market Harborough which is centrally located between the cities of Leicester, Cambridge, Birmingham and Nottingham and only a 1 hour train journey from London. The Harborough Innovation Centre and Harborough Enterprise Centre are both vibrant central hubs for new and growing businesses.&nbsp;
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Centres Manager to lead a professional team, to manage the facilities and provide tailored business growth support for its businesses whilst attracting and generating new business.&nbsp; The postholder will ensure a professional, practical and comprehensive support service is provided to clients at both HIC and HEC.
With previous experience in a similar role, the successful candidate will hold a relevant HND / degree (e.g. Business, Management, Finance, Law) or be able to demonstrate equivalent aptitude.&nbsp; You will have experience of generating income and supporting clients in a business-to-business environment and managing a team and a large budget.&nbsp; You will be professional, proactive and conscientious and have excellent sales, customer service, leadership and communication skills to ensure good working relationships are formed and be a competent user in MS Office including, Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
The role will involve taking ownership for collating and analysing data in order to produce reports and recommendations to the Corporate and Senior Management Team.
You will be a highly motivated individual who is able to use your initiative to work independently in order to solve problems and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.&nbsp; You must be able to adopt a flexible approach to your work, and occasional work outside normal office hours may be required.

<h1>ABOUT THE ROLE</h1>
We are looking for a great HR/Governance professional who thrives on variety and a challenge. You will lead our HR services, manage our office facilities, support our board governance work as well as comms.
We are looking for someone to support the Director of Finance &amp; Resources and Deputy CEO, the Board and the Senior Management Team to deliver effective governance, HR and Corporate &nbsp;Services, embed a risk culture and ensure compliance as well as strengthen the Association’s internal control functions.
To be successful in the role you will need:

<li>CIPD qualification or working towards same with a commitment to CPD</li>
<li>Education to degree level or equivalent through relevant training and experience</li>
<li>Relevant Health &amp; Safety qualification</li>
<li>Experience of providing Human Resources support to management and employees, including organisational change, terms and conditions, policies and procedures</li>
<li>A sound grasp of corporate governance issues and secretarial practice</li>
<li>Good understanding of regulatory environment and legal requirements of the social housing sector</li>
<li>Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders</li>
<li>Experience of preparing and presenting reports to Senior Management and Board</li>
<li>Proficient in Board report writing and minute taking</li>
</ul>
