About the Role
Acton CE Primary Academy is looking to appoint a new member of staff. The staff member would be part of a team in a class where there are children with additional needs – some time would be supporting these children specifically. We welcome applicants with any level of experience, including those looking to develop their skills within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Job Description (Teaching Assistant)
This teaching assistant role is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in our children's education, drawing on your commitment to developing pupil learning ability and knowledge accessibility. Working closely with class teachers you will be helping pupils to expand their knowledge and play a positive role in school life. You will utilise your knowledge, communication skills and creativity to help pupils understand the information presented.
Your duties as a teaching assistant will include:

<li>Assist with the development of individual education and behavioural plans setting challenging expectations for pupils to achieve learning goals.</li>

<li>Provide feedback to pupils and teachers on pupil's achievement, progress and any problems that arise.</li>
<li>Create and maintain an orderly and supportive environment, undertaking administrative tasks as needed.</li>
<li>Promote good pupil conduct encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their behaviour.</li>
<li>Support the use of technology in learning and develop pupils' competence and independence in its use.</li>
<li>Prepare resources required for learning activities and assist pupils in their use.</li>
<li>Uphold policies and procedures relating to child protection, safeguarding and data protection.</li>

The Governors at The Dingle Primary School, in Haslington, near Sandbach, are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to initially join the reception class team. The start date is as soon as possible, but this could be extended should the right candidate require to give notice to a current employer.
The role involves supporting children with their work, preparing resources and supporting teachers in class, working with children on a 1:1 basis, some who have an EHCP, and supporting some children with their individual welfare e.g. toileting and changing nappies. An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic, thriving school team to support across school. This role will include working in Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2.

Underwood West Academy are looking to appoint an extremely efficient and professional person to join our dedicated and motivated school team. You will work closely with the Office Manager, Principal and Senior Leadership Team in meeting our vision and educational aims.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be a highly skilled and motivated individual with meticulous attention to detail. You will be able to demonstrate proven administration skills including proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other school software packages. Experience in School Office administration would be desirable.
Key responsibilities:

<li>General administrative support to a busy school office</li>
<li>All admissions processes (including the school nursery) and relevant communication to key stakeholders</li>
<li>Administrator for all medical needs processes</li>
<li>Lead administration of the schools MIS</li>
<li>Maintain computerised records accurately</li>

The Learning Partnership along with the Principal at Wistaston Church Lane Academy wish to appoint a motivated, committed and highly effective Assistant Caretaker to join our hard working and enthusiastic team.
Key duties will include:
<ul>
<li>Ensuring that the site and its buildings are locked and secured at the end of the day.</li>
<li>Maintaining and cleaning parts of the school daily.</li>
<li>Acting as a designated key holder for the school premises.</li>
<li>Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance, including painting and decorating.</li>
<li>Undertaking general portage duties, including moving furniture and distributing items to the appropriate place.</li>
<li>Taking action where Health and Safety hazards are identified.</li>
<li>Basic grounds maintenance – snow clearing, gritting, litter picking, bin emptying.</li>
<li>Emergency attendance in case of alarms.</li>
</ul>
Other duties as required
Please note that this position is full year, which means that you will be in attendance at work all year round (52 weeks a year) and will have an annual leave entitlement.
The working hours are 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. This is 15 hours per week.
(Hours can be flexible during the summer holidays. We may request that, on occasion, the post holder is flexible during term time, to help manage the building during later evening events in school).
