Part-Time Subsidy Officer
Uttlesford District Council is looking to appoint a motivated and knowledgeable professional with experience in Housing Benefit subsidy who is ready to take the next step in their career.
In this key role, you will be responsible for preparing, compiling and monitoring Housing Benefit subsidy claim information, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process. You will take the lead in identifying and monitoring areas of potential financial loss to the Council, particularly in relation to Local Authority Error and Administrative Delay overpayments. Working closely with senior managers and both internal and external auditors, you will take appropriate action to minimise financial risk and maximise subsidy entitlement.
Salary range
- £39,152 - £41,771 per year
