Breakfast & Afterschool Club Leader

Inspire, Nurture & Make Every Day an Adventure!

Are you passionate about working with children and creating exciting experiences that help them thrive? We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and energetic Breakfast & Afterschool Club Leader to join our team and provide a safe, happy, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and flourish.

As our Breakfast & Afterschool Club Leader, you will play a vital role in shaping children's experiences beyond the classroom. You will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to explore their interests. From organising creative arts and crafts, sports, games, and themed activities to ensuring children enjoy healthy meals and snacks, you'll make each session fun, memorable, and enriching. You will also ensure that DfE guidance is fully understood and delivered within our setting and be instrumental in launching free breakfast clubs in April 2027.

The Pines Primary School is a vibrant one-form entry primary school with a Nursery and a 20-place Specialist Resource Provision. We are proud to serve a diverse community, with children from a wide range of backgrounds and a higher-than-average number of pupils with SEND.

At The Pines, we are committed to making a real difference to the lives of our children and their families. We believe that children learn best when they are engaged, inspired and excited by their experiences. That's why we embrace a continuous provision approach in EYFS and Key Stage 1, recognising the importance of learning through play. We have also recently introduced OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning), transforming playtimes into exciting opportunities for creativity, exploration and development.

  • Foster a positive, caring, and inclusive environment.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and school staff to provide the best possible experience for every child.

  • Bring your creativity and ideas to life.
  • Be part of a friendly and supportive team.
  • Enjoy a rewarding role where no two days are the same.
