<p>The IQA Assessor will manage a caseload of apprentices by monitoring attendance, progression, achievement and completion, organising pastoral support as required and by working with all parties involved to resolve any issues that may affect successful completion of the programmes. The IQA Assessor will coordinate achievement of all aspects of apprenticeship standards or frameworks, to include quality assurance where appropriate, ensuring learners achieve on time, and in-line with college targets. The successful applicants will develop individual action plans including the setting of smart targets tailored to meet apprentices’ needs while maintaining accurate records in line with the College requirements.</p>
<p>The IQA Assessor will;</p>

<li>Hold a relevant vocational qualification at or above level 3 and hold an Assessor award and IQA award</li>
<li>Have relevant up-to-date industrial/subject knowledge and a knowledge of industry and employment opportunities</li>
<li>Have a knowledge of Ofsted and apprenticeship and AEB funding</li>
<li>Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</li>
<li>Have excellent organisational and administrative skills and be able to manage and organise priorities, working as part of a team to ensure quality of provision and timely and overall successful outcomes.</li>

You will also be required to upload any police qualification you may hold such as OSPRE or NPPF at the time of your application.</p><p><strong>Stage 2 - Shortlisting </strong></p><p>Your application will be shortlisted</p><p><strong>Stage 3 - Interview:</strong></p><p>You will be interviewed by a panel of two members. This will include an officer in the rank of Sergeant or above. You will be assessed against the Competency and Values Framework (2024) and also your commitment to Leicestershire Police and the challenges that we face as a county.</p><p><strong>Stage 4 - Pre-employment checks:</strong></p><p>If you are successful at the interview, you will be invited in for a medical, drug and fitness test. We will also carry out vetting checks and contact your current force HR department and line manager for employment references.
