About the role
As a Deputy Service Manager, you will support the Service Manager in driving excellence in service delivery, being a point of contact for staff and ensuring they are empowered, skilled, knowledgeable within their roles and create a supportive environment where both staff and residents can thrive. Our residents in this service have experienced long term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services.They are here to make positive changes and receive the support they need to achieve greater independence and progress in their recovery.
In this role, as a Deputy Service Manager, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents. Some key responsibilities include:

<li>Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service.</li>
<li>Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed.</li>

<li>Contract management and Internal auditing, admin, and general other duties as required.</li>

We are excited to advertise for one Residential Support Worker positions to join our committed and highly valued staff team.
The main role is to work as Residential Support Worker rostered rota that reflects the needs of the service, or as required by the Assistant Managers and Registered unit manager. Westbrook Short Breaks and Resource Unit provide high quality short breaks and flexible support services through a range of measures, in order to support disabled children and young people to live within their family and community within the London Borough of Hounslow.

<li>Sound knowledge of the relevant Legislations in relation to working within a Children’s short break Unit; such as The Children’s Home Regulations 2015, The Children Act 1989, National Minimum Standards, Care Standards Act 2000 and Ofsted legislation.</li>
<li>An enhanced DBS is required for this role.</li>
</ul>

We are looking for Deputy Team Manager Occupational Therapist for Brent’s Reablement Team which is&nbsp;an integrated service combining the fast-paced response to Pathway 1 Home First discharges and the delivery of reablement and social care services in a short term response team set up. The team’s ethos is about promoting and enabling independence and we have good working relationships with our partners and colleagues in the hubs and intermediate care.&nbsp;
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist, who have experience of working with adults with physical disabilities and older people to take an active role with day to day running of the Team in providing specialist advice, guidance, support and supervision to qualified and non-qualified social care and OT staff working within the team. Working with Brent’s Adult Social Care brokerage team on training of new Reablement Home Care providers.&nbsp;
Staff development and training for team members as an integral role in the retention and upskilling of the workforce in Adult Social Care.&nbsp;
The successful candidates will ideally have post graduate experience in Social Care and or Intermediate Care, have experience of supervising staff and or students in the work place and of working with Home Care providers and/or Reablement providers.

In this role, as a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents. Some key responsibilities include:

Sustainable Housing Support Worker - Secondment/Fixed Term role until March 2026 
We are recruiting for a Sustainable Housing Support Worker, to work within the Street Homelessness Accommodation Team, part of the Street Homelessness Service. The Street Homelessness Accommodation Team provide housing related support services to former rough sleepers across several distinct supported housing projects including – Housing First, Dispersed, and Shared Accommodation. 
The ideal candidate will be ambitious, proactive, collaborative, highly motivated and ready for a new challenge. You must also have strong communication and creative problem-solving skills together with the drive and passion to help vulnerable people to live independent and fulfilling lives. You must also be willing to work outside of office hours on occasion, be able to work independently and have good knowledge of welfare, housing and homelessness practice. You will have a solid understanding of safeguarding practices .for vulnerable households, as well as the drive to empower tenants to maintain their tenancies, engage with support services via our mulitdiscpliary partnership process, and move on into longer term appropriate accommodation.
