We are keen to invite those with a clinical or forensic psychology qualification and senior social workers to join our developing team. The HSB team sits alongside the Therapeutic Emotional Support Service (TESS) delivering consultation, assessment, intervention and support to children and young people who display harmful sexual behaviour between the ages of 7-17 years. The HSB team adopts a relational and systemic approach and delivers bespoke and tailored interventions and programmes of education and support to children, young people and their parents and caregivers, regarding harmful sexualised behaviours. The team has recently gone through a period of transition and review to ensure we continue to align with best practice and evidence-based approaches to service delivery, making this an exciting time to join our team.The HSB team works collaboratively with our partner agencies forming close working arrangements with the wider Birmingham Children’s Trust Early Help support network, Child in Needs teams, Safeguarding and Children in Care services, Birmingham Youth Justice Service, Police, and our local CAMHS service known as Forward Thinking Birmingham.The team is currently comprised of a Team Manager and two Aim 3 Practitioners. We are seeking to appoint passionate and experienced Assistant Team Managers within our Children With Complex Needs Team to join our dynamic Children’s Services Team here at Sefton Council.
As an Assistant Team Manager, you will have direct responsibility for a small number of children whilst playing a vital role in supporting the Team Manager in the day-to-day management of a team of Social Workers and other professionals in the delivery of statutory and legislative duties and requirements. About the role:
This is a varied role that would suit an individual who has sound knowledge in childcare legislation, advocacy and participation and is passionate about making meaningful relationships to achieve change.
We are offering this role on a fixed term basis for external applicants.&nbsp; Internal staff would be offered a secondment opportunity to further develop skill sets/knowledge.&nbsp; Approval from current line managers must be sought before applying.
The role will require you to be able to work flexibly, which will include evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of our children and young people.
Please note the successful candidate will require a full driving licence to travel around Rutland and the wider area.

Social Worker/Experienced Social Worker – Community - Wallasey

Our New Homes:
Home 1 - A bespoke 2-bed home offering full-time care to children with complex social emotional and mental health needs.
Home 2 -A 4-bed longer-term stable loving home for children and Young People
Home 3 -A 4-bed assessment home supporting short-term placements and transitions to stepping down to foster care or safely returning home, working closely with our excellent edge of care service.
About the Role: As a Registered Manager, you will:
