Join our busy Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub as an Administrator to make a real difference at the first point of contact for Children’s Social Care.

About you...

MASH Administration Assistants are the first point of contact between the public and Children’s Social Care. You will provide administrative support in our busy Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub. You will have excellent IT skills and the ability to input data accurately to tight deadlines. You will also have excellent general administrative, telephone and message recording skills. Conscientious, reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team are key attributes to be successful in this role.

About the team...

This highly confidential role sits within Children’s Social Care and involves regular contact with colleagues across the department, partner agencies and members of the public. MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) is a fast-paced team and serves as the front door to Children’s Services and Early Help. It is the first point of contact for all potential safeguarding concerns relating to children, whether raised by families, members of the public, or professionals.

Key responsibilities...

As a MASH Administration Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • answering phone lines
  • recording of information on electronic data bases
  • processing of information
  • being the first point of contact for Childrens Social Care
  • any other administration related tasks
