About the role 
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our dynamic Child Protection and Children in Need Team. In this pivotal role, you will manage the most complex and high-risk cases, ensuring timely and effective interventions that safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. You will also act as a mentor and consultant to colleagues, and represent the service, play a key role in supporting the Team Manager by role modelling best practice and providing supervision to social workers. You’ll be supporting learners working towards qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3, including Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths in classroom, practical and workshop settings. In your role in delivering targeted out of class interventions, you will support these learners through their studies, providing welfare and personal case assistance (if required). You will work as part of a proactive and dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for our students.

About the role
We’re looking for a Night Support Worker to support within the Offender Personality Disorder Housing Accommodation to provide support in successfully rehabilitating and reintegrating our residents and participants back into the community. Our residents are referred to us by the criminal justice system, and they are deemed as high risk, and likely to meet the criteria for a personality disorder. You will be part of the team to provide intensive support to overcome their barriers to resettlement and progress towards independent living.&nbsp;
You will:

<li>Work to ensure safety and wellbeing of our residents.</li>
<li>Support mainly the night shifts to ensure the service runs smoothly at night, being a point of contact for residents, engaging with them to ensure their safety comes first, and running various evening activities for engagement.</li>
<li>Build trusting and professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through one to one sessions, group sessions, and general wellbeing check ins.</li>

We are seeking a GIS Officer to join Lee Valley’s GIS team and deliver exciting and challenging geospatial projects across our world class visitor destinations consisting of 10,000 acres of award-winning parklands and outstanding sports venues, including three London 2012 legacy venues.
GIS is embedded across the organisation and as the GIS Officer you will play a central role in supporting, designing, developing and managing spatial databases, performing spatial data analysis; and delivering a variety of projects, from mapping to developing apps.
We are looking for a motivated and innovative individual who is proficient in managing data from diverse sources and is able to work with people from a range of diverse fields.
Experience in using geospatial software (ESRI) and creating data visualisations is essential and knowledge and understanding of any relational databases with any scripting languages experience (Python, R, JavaScript) will be advantageous.

About the role
Our service provides supported accommodation units for adults with multiple, complex mental health needs. Our residents may be transitioning from inpatient rehabilitation, acute mental health wards, or other residential settings into a structured rehabilitation environment. Our team are here to support our residents with care and rehabilitation to help them to achieve their personal needs and goals.
As an Outreach Activities Coordinator, you will manage the running and coordination of regular activities, events, and trips for our residents which work in support to individual support places and goals, by creating a calendar of activities, celebrations, awareness months/days/weeks and events to encourage social skills and community engagement. You may also support with other external activities such as supporting with attendance to appointments and treatments, whilst using your own knowledge to support and inspire them in being motivated to engage more with various services.&nbsp;

<li>Plan and implement a range of therapeutic individual and group work activities, and complete functional assessments, contributing to multi-disciplinary team care planning and risk assessments.</li>
<li>Coordinate all aspects of promotion, recruitment, and evaluation of activities and programmes. Take on feedback and utilise this for continuous improvement</li>
<li>Adapt activities/programmes to different learning needs and styles, using different delivery techniques</li>
<li>Coordinate and advertise internal and external activity and programme opportunities.</li>

To provide secretarial, administrative and research support services to the Assistant Directors - Skills &amp; Employment, which are responsive to their needs and contribute to making their roles effective. Provide support for a team of over 150 people which includes clerking senior management team meetings and leading on team events such as unit away days.
<h2>What your day will look like</h2>
You will:
<ul>
<li>Provide high level secretarial support to the Assistant Directors, including:</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Diary management, email monitoring and assisting with prioritising activities</li>
<li>Arranging meetings, collating agendas, distributing papers and taking minutes</li>
<li>Ensure the Assistant Directors are properly briefed on and familiar with the agenda in advance of all meetings.</li>

<ul>
<li>Act as the first point of contact, responding to queries and producing draft correspondence on behalf of the Assistant Director/Head of Unit.</li>
<li>Maintain key lines of communication and working relationships with Senior Managers and other staff across the organisation to support the Assistant Directors in their roles.</li>
<li>Provide high quality secretariat support for regular meetings with Deputy Mayors and relevant Senior Managers/staff</li>
<li>Undertake research, fact-finding and analysis activities in support of the team’s work and to support team member development and assist in procuring consultants, event space and training.</li>
<li>Arrange meetings, including finding suitable dates, booking rooms, ordering catering and equipment; produce and circulate meeting documentation such as agendas, minutes and presentations and noting and following up on any actions agreed as required.</li>
<li>Liaise with stakeholders including London Councils, boroughs, representative bodies of the skills sector, business and other key partners and maintain excellent working relationships.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Co-ordinate, manage and plan consultation and stakeholder events and communications activities.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Skills, knowledge and experience</h2>
To be considered for the role you must meet the following essential criteria:
<ul>
<li>Experience of providing high-level secretarial support to a senior leader.</li>
<li>Experience of providing supporting a large team including onboarding of new staff and implementing processes to support staff.</li>
<li>Experience of using IT systems including MS Outlook, word-processing, spreadsheets and databases.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and experience of working to demanding deadlines and working with a range of stakeholders.</li>
