TEACHING ASSISTANT ADVERT
About the Role
Acton CE Primary Academy is looking to appoint a new member of staff. The staff member would be part of a team in a class where there are children with additional needs – some time would be supporting these children specifically. Job Description (Teaching Assistant)
This teaching assistant role is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in our children's education, drawing on your commitment to developing pupil learning ability and knowledge accessibility. The governing body of this, vibrant and successful primary school is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to provide support within KS2. The post is for at 26.25 hours per week, term time only.&nbsp; 
On a fixed term contract for 1 year.
The successful candidate will join a committed, professional and hardworking team who put the needs of our children first.&nbsp;
As a Teaching Assistant,&nbsp;you will:
<ul>
<li>Have previous experience of working with children in Key Stage 2.</li>
<li>Have experience of working with children with some class cover.</li>
<li>Be proactive and work well in a team.</li>
<li>Be able to communicate effectively with the children and other staff members.</li>
<li>Report on individual pupil’s progress.</li>
<li>Be a positive role model and support with all aspects of self-esteem.</li>
<li>Be qualified to NVQ (level 3) or equivalent.</li>
<li>Have experience carrying out specific interventions to aid learning.</li>
