The Adult Social Care Review Team covers a wide remit of reviews and reassessment across the Wirral, working with persons recently discharged from hospital and those residing in the community. The Review Team supports with various adult social care projects and at-risk care home and domiciliary providers.
In addition, collaborating with Wirral contracts &amp; commissioning and quality improvement teams, adhering to outcomes focused and legal literate practices. The Review Team offers a plethora of opportunities for practitioners seeking to strengthen their practice and apply transferrable knowledge and skills in a CPD focused team. Social Workers are required to support with the latter service delivery, utilising assessment, and intervention skills, framed in legal literate practices. Experience of working with older adults.

Highway Structures Engineer
Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2027.
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Highways Structural Engineer to join our Highway and Infrastructure Team to support the delivery of our ambitious capital programme.
We are seeking highly motivated individual to play a key role in developing and delivering the capital programme through activities including overview of routine inspections, analysis of condition data, minor works design, consultant and contractor management and liaison with all stakeholders, including internal and external partners, the public and Council Members.
About the candidate:
You should be self-motivated, well organised and prepared to work in a hybrid manner to meet the needs of the service. They must also display strong technical skills and proven experience of working with Highway Structures including bridges, culverts and retaining walls.

About the Role
The purpose of the role is to lead and operate within a large flexible multi-functional and multi-site operation (Bus Station and Travel Centres) to support the provision of high-quality customer facilities and services, 365 days a year.
You will be based at one of our Hub sites, these include Queen Square, Liverpool One, St Helens, Bootle, Huyton and Birkenhead.
Due to the nature of the role you will be required to work at any Hub location across the Merseyside area as and when required incorporating Travel Centre and Bus Station activities across the Merseyside area.&nbsp;
The role includes ticket sales assurance activity ensuring the integrity of all ticketing transactions.
The is a fixed term vacancy until February 2026.
Your shift pattern will consist of one week on (Monday to Sunday inclusive) and one week off and working an average of 17.5 hours per week.
Hours: Monday to Sunday shift work, including Bank Holidays.&nbsp; Various work patterns with longest scope of service covering 06.45 hrs to 20.15 hrs Monday – Saturday, 07.30 hrs to 20.15 hrs Sunday. 
About the person
You will be an experienced manager with a proven track record of leadership in customer-facing operations, possessing a strong ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.&nbsp;
You will be able to dynamically supervise 6 locations simultaneously using existing communication methods, providing help and guidance to staff in a bus station environment and operating travel centres in each of those locations. &nbsp;
