The Property Team are an integral part of the Council and are key in managing the property portfolio effectively and efficiently. As an Asset Management Support Assistant based within this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team in the development, implementation and monitoring of asset management activities. We have a vacancy for a Planning Policy Technical Officer to take on an important role in our Planning Policy Team and support the preparation of our new local plan. The successful candidate will take a leading role in the technical elements of the preparation of a new local plan, such as the management, collation and preparation of data, GIS support and preparation of maps, development of a digital plan and maintenance of the key databases for engagement. They will also be the main contact point for the team for internal and external communication and support with arrangements for consultation exercises.
