At Kent County Council, we believe in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. We are searching for a Business Support Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in helping our organisation operate efficiently and effectively.

You will be joining the Adult Social Care and Health Business Support Division, delivering business support to our Senior Leadership Team and frontline services empowering our residents to live their lives the way they want to.

We believe the importance of supporting people to be involved in everyday activities, make choices and feel part of their communities, or not, as anyone has the right to do, in a way that suits them.

The primary function of the Business Support Coordinator is to provide an effective business support provision to assist in the smooth running of the day-to-day functioning of the division, taking a proactive role in relation to supporting service delivery.

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as a point of contact; assessing and resolving telephone queries, mailbox monitoring and production and distribution of correspondence and documentation.
  • Coordinate a range of meetings, including production of agendas, taking and producing minutes.
  • Data entry into a range of systems, resolution of queries and input into development of monitoring processes.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in business support, administration, or a similar role.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and other office software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude and a passion for problem-solving.
  • A positive, can-do mindset with a commitment to delivering high quality work.
