You will determine licence applications, advise businesses, investigate complaints, and take enforcement action where appropriate. You will partner with external stakeholders, including Northamptonshire Police and Regulatory partners. You will attend committee hearings, assess vehicles, work with vets to assess animal welfare, and attend court for appeals and prosecutions.

You will need to be able to communicate effectively with the public, applicants, partnership agencies and Members of the Council, and work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You must also be willing to work out of regular hours to attend committee hearings, undertake site inspections, carry out joint operations, and follow up complaint investigations.
