We are recruiting for Level 2 Teaching Assistant for Pre School

Required from September 2026

Salary: Grade 3 SCP 3 - 4 (£24,796 to £25,185) (FTE-AYR) – to be pro rata

Actual Salary: £18,801.21 to £19,528.06 per annum

5 days, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.40am to 3.40pm (with a 30-minute lunch),

39 weeks (TTO + Training Days)

Our Lady & St Hubert’s Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint an outstanding and passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will be working with children in our Pre School environment.

We are seeking enthusiastic and creative applicants to support children in the early years of their education. We require someone who is committed and wants to make a positive difference and who has previous experience working within Early Years. The successful candidate will demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills, who can work well as part of a team and is committed to ongoing professional development.

Key responsibilities of the role: Support children’s learning and development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum, promote children’s independence and confidence in readiness for school. Assist with lunchtimes, personal care and daily routines in line with EYFS requirements. Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and families. Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
