Our Team:

Client Transport have a fleet of assessable vehicles and cars that are required to transport SEN Children and Vulnerable Adults to various location within and outside the Authority boundaries. The operating centre is Lower House Lane Widnes, Transport Co-ordination staff have several driver/attendants that are required on a daily basis to run the service.

We are currently recruiting for a Term Time OnlyDriver/Assistant to join our dedicated Passenger Transport Team.

This rewarding role involves the safe and caring transportation of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and vulnerable adults between their homes and a variety of educational establishments and care settings, both within and outside the borough.

Physical requirements

The successful applicant will be required to move equipment, safely manoeuvre wheelchairs, and provide appropriate physical assistance to passengers when necessary.

We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, and professional, and who can contribute positively to our well-established and highly respected transport service.

Hours: 20 per week, Split-shifts: Monday to Friday Mornings & Afternoons (Term Time Only)

Each shift may have an operational difference, that may require a slight variation in length, dependent upon the daily client requirement
